Multiple Accounts Background Notifications

I have two accounts on Carbon, but only the default account is updating in the background. I receive no notifications for the second account, although there are new tweets when I check manually.

Once you authorize your second account you'll need to switch off the Background Updated and switch it on again to start Background updates for the newly created account.
In order to diagnose the problem could yo do the followings?
Remove your second account, reauthorize it again, turn off Background Updates and Turn it on Again. Try it, and post back again for us to find out if we know what the issue is. Thanks.

Moe,
I did as you requested: removed second account; closed and reopened Carbon; reauthorized second account; closed and reopened Carbon; disabled Run in Background; closed and reopened Carbon; enabled Run in Background.
The problem persists: receive notifications for primary account, but not for second account. New tweets appear after manual refresh.
Is there more I can do to help?

I as well do not get any notifications on additional accounts. I followed the steps listed above with no change.

That's been finally fixed. You'll find the fix in the next release.

What is the time frame on releasing the next version with the notification fixes? What version number will that be?

It's going to be in the next update scheduled for March 14, v.1.2.0
