Background updates fail
I know that version 1.2.1 was supposed to fix this, but background updates don't work on my Pre. I need this functionality - it is really the major reason why I have a Twitter client on my phone.
I do not keep the app running as a minimized card - am I supposed to?
As soon as I start the app, it will tell me about the messages I missed since last time.
Thanks,
-Tomas

I have installed the new version, and I see no change in behavior. Is there something I must do to get it to work? Uninstall/reinstall?
This is very frustrating, as this is the only function I use Twitter on my phone for, and it worked perfectly in Tweed.

Could you please turn the BG Updates Off and then On and test back with 3G?

Hello,
I turned off notifications, closed app, opened it, turned on
notifications, turned off BG, closed app, opened it, turned on BG,
closed it. Sent a DM. Waited 6 minutes (interval is set to five). Opened
app, it refreshed, and then notified me.
I then left the app open, and sent another DM. After 4.5 minutes, it
clicked and notified me. I then closed it again. And then sent another
DM. after 3 minutes, if notified me I have 40 new mentions (I have 4,
though I have had at least 40 today). And it failed to notify me of the DM.
I then sent a DM and a mention. Minutes later, it notified me of all
three.
Very Weird. For now, I'll consider it working.
Thanks for your help, it is a great product.

p.s., Is there a way to change the notify sound (and add vibe)?
