notification only works when I start the app

I guess I should write in English now ;-.)
I do have v.1.0.11 I put notification on messages and replys, background, every 10 min. I just don't get any notification - only, when I start the app.
I ve got the same problem with all twitterapps.

   Glad you wrote in English :)

   We have to type of notifications.
   1. On App Notifications(When Card is in active or a panel that has udpates is not active)
   2. Background Notifications

   Background Notifications work only when the app is closed as its name implies. So if the app is open you wouldn't get any notification coming from the Background Updates, but from your App Notifications.

   Try this, put your background notifications ON for Tweets/Timeline and turn off Mentions & Messages. Keep your update interval to 5 Minutes. Close the app. See if you get any notifications. If you didn't, then report it here again and provide us your OS version and details so that we know what we're doing wrong :) cool?

   Thanks for your answer. Yeah, that works. I do have a Palm Pre (oldschool webOS with 1.4.5)

   So it worked? Phew, I think the problems is sometimes when the Background Updater works it might get a disconnection or out of coverage in the middle of updating, we'll make sure it reports those errors in the future...

   So all's good and working then right?
