Hello,

I'm using a 'Sprint-ified' Pre Plus running webOS 1.4.5. (using Carbon v1.2.1) Ever since the May '11 re-authentication, I've had to re-authenticate approximately 4 times, which isn't a huge deal since the process is so quick and easy. Just seems to be occur more often than it should.

BTW, this is by far the finest Twitter app for webOS! Looking forward to updates to other dark color schemes and photo (moby) support!

Thx!

Sorry to hear that, the re-authentication is a process where webOS for a reason deletes your preferences and accounts data in Carbon. Ideally this does not happen as often as you mentioned but some installed patches cause that. We specially have issues with doctored legacy devices. We've been looking at redoing the way we handle preferences and accounts data and it looks like we've finally nailed it. Updates are on the way :)

Thanks for the prompt reply! The issue isn't really that big of a deal. It just surprised me as I had inadvertently closed the app and discovered the issue upon re-launching it.

Looking forward to updates and seeing this on my shiny new Pre3.

Hey... I'm having the same issue. I've got Verizon Pre Plus with 1.4.5 and am having the same issues with multiple re-authentications.

I really enjoy using Carbon and haven't had this issue on any other twitter clients. Is there something I can do to stop this or is this some larger issue out of your hands?

    Thanks!

This is a known issue, specially on doctored webOS2.x with patches. I still couldn't narrow down the patch that causes data loss with Carbon, it's one of the Performance related patches that clear the cookies/cache.
