Nearby Tweets not working?

Is the nearby tweets option not working anymore? When I select it, it shows the loading symbol, but then nothing shows. The location services are turn on on my phone. What do you think the issue is?

    There has been an update on the Twitter side that is causing empty results for certain timelines, we've fixed them and awaiting the finalization to submit the update ASAP.
