Selectable notification sounds

Have you thought about allowing the end=user to choose the sound effect/mp3 file they want to hear for when notifications come in? I dunno about the rest, but I have a hard time hearing a simple, faint "click" over everything else going on during the day.

I second this. Also, I would love the option to turn the vibrate on and off. There are days I prefer my Twitter notifications to be more like the email, with just a notification but no sound or vibrate. I want a lot of control over how my phone gets my attention.
