Gap Detection and New Tweet Marker

I like the gap detection feature that allows you not to miss tweets between the last time you opened the app and the new tweets that pop up. However, I was wondering two things.

Most importantly:
The bar that shows where you last opened the app (new tweets marker?) should move down when clicking the scrunched thing that opens your missing tweets. Currently, the bar stays where it was, even though clicking the gap detection thing loads new tweets that haven't been read before the new tweet bar. Related to this, the "Goto Last New" option should scroll the timeline down to the last new tweet, which should be the tweet loaded after pressing the gap detection scrunchie thing.

Less important:
Is it possible to have only 1 gap detection button, or an option to autoload all the tweets since the last one you looked at without needing to press the gap thing at all? Right now I load up new tweets and the gap detection thing appears, but if it's been a while since I last loaded the app, I have to press it multiple times to see all the tweets.

Thanks!

Alternate suggestion to the second thing:
An option for the "how many posts to load" called "All tweets since last refresh" or something similar.
