It is a nice-to-have kind of feature, we have it on our list of potential features to add, though it's not yet planned for any of our coming releases.

PLEASE, if you do this, make it optional! The Facebook app had this, and it was annoying to put my phone down for a minute, only to find it took it as a "shake."
